Our company originated in 1876 as Erie Iron Works, not far from the Canadian shores of Lake Erie, in St. Thomas Ontario.
We began as local manufacturer and supplier of wheelbarrows and agricultural tools and equipment for the surrounding farming communities – making us the oldest wheelbarrow manufacturer in the country with over 140 years of experience.
Over the following decades, our company has evolved and expanded with the times.
Today, operating out of our facility in South Western Ontario, we are the industry leader in true Contractor Grade wheelbarrows. We also offer a wide range of light and medium-duty wheelbarrows, lawn rollers and tools & equipment for the farming community and serious homeowners.
